Still Life

Created with Procreate.

Process

Sketch of a car dashboard and steering wheel seen from above, in a simple line drawing style.

Initial linework and mapping out of composition.

A top-down view of baking ingredients and tools, including a kangaroo-shaped cookie cutter, a bowl of dough or batter, a rolling pin, a spatula, and round cookies on a baking sheet.

Lighter notan shapes (without linework).

Inspired by my personal hobby of hand-juicing oranges, this still life captures a simple, everyday moment. The alcohol marker brushstrokes references the painting style of Vincent Van Gogh and use directional strokes to communicate form. This piece was created entirely using ProCreate.
